Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of SprintDeck, including planning poker rooms, accounts, billing flows, and related websites or services. By using SprintDeck, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

Service description

SprintDeck provides online planning poker and agile estimation tools that allow teams to create rooms, invite participants, vote privately, reveal estimates, manage rounds, and coordinate sprint planning decisions.

SprintDeck may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves, provided that material changes do not intentionally reduce paid plan functionality without notice or an appropriate operational reason.

Accounts and eligibility

Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify SprintDeck of suspected unauthorized access. Organizations are responsible for user activity under organization-managed accounts.

Users may not access SprintDeck if they are prohibited from using workplace productivity or online collaboration services under applicable law.

Acceptable use

SprintDeck must be used responsibly and lawfully. Users may not misuse the service, interfere with platform integrity, or use rooms to distribute harmful, illegal, or infringing content.

  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, subscription limits, payment controls, or security protections.
  • Do not probe, scan, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt SprintDeck except through an authorized security review.
  • Do not upload malware, secrets you are not authorized to share, regulated sensitive data, or content that violates rights or laws.
  • Do not impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or use SprintDeck to harass, spam, or harm another person or organization.

Customer content and ownership

Users and organizations retain ownership of room names, issue titles, comments, voting activity, and other content submitted to SprintDeck. SprintDeck receives a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, back up, secure, and support that content as needed to provide the service.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to SprintDeck.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, trials, renewals, invoices, taxes, cancellations, and payment failures are handled according to the checkout and account management flow shown at the time of purchase. Billing may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Unless a checkout flow or signed agreement states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Users are responsible for canceling before renewal if they do not want future charges.

Service availability and changes

SprintDeck aims to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, provider outages, network issues, abuse prevention, emergency security work, or circumstances outside SprintDeck's reasonable control.

SprintDeck may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address payment or security issues.

Third-party services

SprintDeck may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payment processing, analytics, email, and monitoring. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies where applicable.

Intellectual property

SprintDeck, including its software, brand, interface, documentation, and product design, is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant users ownership of SprintDeck technology or trademarks.

Feedback may be used by SprintDeck without restriction or obligation, provided that customer confidential content is not disclosed publicly without permission.

Confidentiality

Users should not submit confidential information unless they are authorized to do so. SprintDeck treats non-public room, account, billing, and support information as confidential and uses it only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Termination

Users may stop using SprintDeck at any time. SprintDeck may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, non-payment, security risk, or abuse. Data deletion and export may be limited by account status, retention obligations, and technical constraints.

Disclaimers

SprintDeck is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. SprintDeck does not promise that every estimate, planning decision, integration, or workflow outcome will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SprintDeck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption.

Where liability cannot be excluded, SprintDeck's aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the service in the three months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.

Changes to these terms

SprintDeck may update these terms as the product, legal requirements, or business operations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or email.
